Publisher only

We are not a payment service provider, bank, acquirer, payment intermediary, credit provider, payment-system operator or agent of a provider merely because we describe or link to one. This site does not receive, hold, route or settle your funds. A provider supplies its service under its own application, contract, prices, privacy notice, availability rules and regulatory status. Verify the exact contracting legal entity and terms before committing.

General information, not professional advice

The site provides general factual information, calculations, comparisons and editorial opinions. It is not legal, tax, accounting, exchange-control, credit, financial, investment, compliance, cybersecurity or personalised business advice. Obtain appropriate professional advice before implementing a foreign-company, tax, credit, regulated-payment or other materially consequential arrangement. Lidema is not acting as an authorised financial services provider, and the content is not advice under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS).

Prices, features and calculator estimates

Provider prices, eligibility, features, settlement, availability and terms can change without notice. Displayed source and review dates show when we checked material; they do not guarantee it remains current. Calculator outputs are estimates using the assumptions shown with the result. Negotiated rates, taxes, tiers, international-card premiums, platforms, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, payouts, hardware and unlisted charges may change your actual cost. Obtain a current written provider quote and test it against your transaction mix.

Methodology, comparisons and opinions

Our methodology explains the comparison universe, sources and calculations. A lowest-cost result applies only to the displayed modelled options, scenario, assumptions and check date. Editorial opinions use the reasons we state and are not universal rankings. Send factual corrections tocorrections@paymentserviceproviders.co.za.

Commercial relationships

No provider currently pays for inclusion, ranking, links, leads or referrals. Provider links are not affiliate links and earn us no commission. There are no sponsored provider profiles or paid placements. Lidema Studios promotions are house advertisements by the site operator and do not affect rankings. If this changes, we will update the central disclosure and label each affected link or placement where a reader sees it. Paid material will not silently enter an editorial ranking.

Third-party sites and services

Links are supplied for source verification and convenience. They do not make us the provider's agent or mean we endorse every part of the linked site. We do not control a third party's availability, contract, privacy, security or performance. Your dealings with a provider are between you and that provider.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, Lidema owns or is licensed to use the site's original written expression, design, code, graphics and arrangement. We do not claim underlying facts, laws or third-party material merely because the site reports them. Provider names and any individually authorised marks belong to their owners; references identify comparison subjects and do not imply endorsement, partnership or approval.

Acceptable use

You may link to public pages and make uses allowed by law. Do not falsely present our expression as yours, remove context so a claim becomes misleading, bypass controls, interfere with the site, submit malicious or unlawfully obtained material, impersonate another person, or create a false impression of endorsement or partnership. Our crawler preferences are not themselves a copyright licence; automated access must not overload the service, collect personal information unlawfully or misrepresent source and context.

Availability and liability

We may correct, update, remove or suspend content and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is supplied without a guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for your circumstances. Lidema is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or purely economic loss arising from reliance on the site or a third-party service to the extent the law permits. We do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and changes

South African law governs these terms. Subject to any mandatory statutory forum, South African courts have jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited or severed only as necessary and the remainder continues. We may update these terms by publishing a new effective date and will give reasonable additional notice of material changes where appropriate.
